Safrove Privacy Policy

Who We Are
Safrove is operated by an independent developer. In this privacy policy, "we" refers to the Safrove software author.
Information We Process
Safrove does not upload, read, or store your backup data. To provide licensing, trials, and support, we may process Machine ID, email address, license metadata, device name, app version, IP address, and User-Agent. Machine ID is generated from CPU, motherboard, BIOS, and disk serial information using SHA-256.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your information on the following legal bases: (a) contract performance (providing license and trial services); (b) legitimate interests (abuse prevention, security auditing); (c) legal obligations (tax, accounting, dispute resolution); (d) your consent (for non-essential processing activities).
Purposes
We use this information only for license issuance, license verification, trial abuse prevention, customer support, security auditing, refunds, and legal compliance. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Third-Party Services & Cross-Border Transfer
The license website and API run on Cloudflare Workers, D1, and Workers Secrets. Cloudflare acts as an infrastructure provider and may process request logs, IP addresses, and related network metadata. Their servers may be located outside your country of residence. By using this service, you consent to such cross-border data transfers.
Retention
Order and license records are retained for the license term and for necessary accounting, tax, support, dispute, and legal compliance periods. Activation IP and User-Agent audit records are generally retained for no more than 365 days unless needed for security incidents, disputes, or legal requirements.
Your Rights
You may contact support@safrove.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information related to licensing, or to withdraw consent for non-essential processing, restrict processing, or export your data. Deleting license records may prevent continued license verification.
Children's Privacy
This software is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us for immediate deletion.
